This page explains what ChinaCarDB collects, why, and how long it keeps it. Browsing the site requires no account and sets no tracking cookies.

Who is responsible

The controller of your data is Aidanfupi, who operates ChinaCarDB. You can reach us at contact@chinacardb.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into our forms: your name, country, an email address or WhatsApp number, the purpose of your request, and any message or model name you add. We do not store your IP address. For abuse protection we use a salted one-way hash of it, held only in memory for a short time.

Why we collect it and on what basis

We use your details to answer your request, such as a quotation or sourcing enquiry, a contact message or a model addition request. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on the form.

Sharing

Sourcing and product enquiries may be forwarded to certified exporters, and the consent text on those forms says so. Contact messages and model requests are never shared with third parties. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are deleted after 24 months.

Preferences, cookies and analytics

• Your choice of units and currency is kept in your browser's local storage on your device. It is never sent to us.
• There are no tracking cookies. A session cookie is used only in the administrator area.
• There is no analytics tooling in this version of the site.
